Martin Sexton brings the folk rock, live on Mountain Stage
This Week on Mountain Stage:
Beginning this Friday, our new episode featuring Martin Sexton, Whitehorse, the Ryan Montbleau Band, NewFound Road, and Belinda Smith feeds to over 100 NPR stations across the country. Watch this space for our upcoming Mountain Stage video with Whitehorse a little later in the week.
Over at NPR Music, the segments from our most recent broadcast will soon be available for streaming. Patterson Hood’s set, featuring material from his latest solo efforts, will be up before the end of the day. He’s backed by several of his musical compatriots, including a few members of the Drive-By Truckers, and REM’s Mike Mills on backing vocals. Listen to it anywhere via the NPR Music app.
And finally, the latest Mountain Stage podcast is up and available for download. It features Fountains of Wayne, Amanda Shires, Marc Broussard, Ben Lee and Grace Weber; and includes material cut from the radio broadcast for time. You can subscribe via iTunes. Did we mention it’s free? Because it is.
Anytime and everytime you listen, stream, download or subscribe, we think of it as vote of confidence on your part. Thanks for supporting our show.
